[ It's one of his many flaws, really. But he fully acknowledges that he did something really fucking stupid.

With a sigh, he continues, answering Prompto's other questions. ]

I'm... okay, though, to keep on going. In a bit of pain and I think this wound on my chest is bleeding again.

Yeah yeah, I know.

[He gave a low laugh, one that quickly came to a halt when Noct admitted he was in pain and bleeding. Prompto muttered a soft curse under his breath and sighed, and in the same moment he started walking faster than he had been.]

We need a car. Or somethin. Wings to fly. Just don't bleed out on me, Noct! I'm gonna be real angry if you go and die on me.

I'm not gonna die on you, Prom... I'm not bleeding that badly, just enough to hurt a bit and maybe ruin your shirt.

[ Noctis tightens his arm around Prompto's shoulder when he feels his friend moving faster. ]

Sure wish we had the Regalia right about now or my Audi. Hell, I'd even take our chocobos. [ A pause ] But you're doing great as my knight in shining armor. A lot better than I'd be doing on my own.

I don't care about the shirt!

[He didn't care about anything other than Noct not being hurt, but he did his best to keep himself calmer so he didn't stress Noct out too much. Didn't stop him from being quick though. Nope, no slowing down here. If he could have run without risking hurting Noct more he would have done that!]

Yeah, a car'd be great. [He turned his head a bit, lips curved in a wan half-smile.] Dunno about that, but I'll take it.

How much further do you think we've got before we get back to the house?

[ Because Noctis really wants nothing more than to lay down and sleep right about now. This whole injury thing because he made poor decisions followed by being carried on Prompto's back because he couldn't drag himself home? Yeah, it sucks.

...But he's thankful for Prompto, more than he can express. Otherwise, he'd still be laying in the middle of some clearing. He's silent for a few seconds before he speaks again, voice a lot softer. ]

I swear I won't do something stupid like this again.

[And it was good they were, because as confident as Prompto was trying to be, his legs were starting to ache. He knew he wouldn't stop, no matter how much his thighs burned or his knees hurt, he would get Noctis home.

Once he got Noct back and into bed, he knew he'd have to take care of himself. He thought about a soak in the tub but worried if he stopped he might not be able to get himself out of the tub. Prompto was a little lost to his own thoughts when Noctis spoke again, and when he did the blonde near jumped. Then he laughed quietly.]

You will. Just remember to take potions with you next time, Noct. It'll save you a world of hurt!

Yeah, I know. [ He sighs, resting his head against Prompto once again ] I don't plan on seeing Sephiroth again if I can help it... But I'll keep potions stored on me at all times from now on, I guess. Better safe than sorry.

[ Even after the short time he'd been in Nippon, Noctis had grown used to not having to worry about the sorts of things he was faced with in Lucis. He didn't need to carry potions and elixirs with him... Or so he thought. That will be changing, though, as soon as he crafts some new potions with whatever he can find in Nippon. ]

If Gladio and Ignis ever show up here... Don't tell them about this. Gladio would give me hell.

You can see the guy. Just don't play with his sword no more!

[Prompto turned his head a little, as if trying to catch a look at Noct, but on realising just how close Noctis' face was to his own, he flushed darkly and looked away.]

Uh, sure. Yeah, lips are sealed! But y'know Gladio'd probably wanna kick that guys ass, right?
